Compliance for Clinical Placement
To comply with state and local regulations for healthcare providers, students enrolled in the Cabrillo College Allied Health programs (Nursing, Medical Assisting, Radiologic Technology, and Dental Hygiene) are required to complete specific clinical compliance requirements.

CPR Information
All Allied Health Students are required to have current CPR certification through American Heart Association (AHA). Use the link to get information about CPR requirements, as well as links to local CPR certifying agency classes for certification:

Drug Screens and Background Checks
There are two different vendors listed below for drug screens and background checks. Carefully follow the instructions given to you by your Program Office and/or Clinical Compliance Coordinator about which vendor is appropriate for your program and cohort (graduating class).

Please pay close attention to the graduation dates noted after each vendor to be sure you are using the correct one!
