Meet Our Staff


Calais Ingel

Calais IngelCalais Ingel has taught computer technology for over 20 years, and every day she looks forward to learning something new. She enjoys teaching computer skills, including Microsoft Office, mobile technology, business/technical writing, keyboarding, and customer service. Calais has extensive experience with ergonomics and assistive technologies including speech recognition. She was awarded the prestigious Floyd Younger Teaching Award, the highest teaching award at Cabrillo College. She loves reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.


Jennifer Vered

Jennifer VeredJennifer has been an instructor at Cabrillo for over five years, and takes pride in the curriculum she designed to match the needs of students. She also assists students outside the classroom in the Aptos and Watsonville computer labs. Jennifer worked in many fields, including organic agriculture and the culinary arts, and has taught foreign language, English, and cultural history.


Jamilah Vittor

Jamilah VittorJamilah is the Learning Instructional Assistant for the CABT. She works in both the Aptos and Watsonville CTCs. Jamilah is known for her patience and kindness as well as her tech savvy. Jamilah is interested in genealogy and enjoys traveling with her family.




David Nagid

David graduated from Cabrillo College with an AS degree in Math/Computer Science in 1981. He worked as a Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale until his retirement in 2014. He has been teaching MS Office applications at various local community colleges and adult schools since 2000. He also works as a Guest Service Representative for Levi Stadium in Santa Clara and for Team San Jose.

Steve Larson

Steve has been teaching at Cabrillo since 1992. He received an M.A. in Instructional Technology from San Jose State University. He also has a background in networking technology, technical documentation, and interactive multimedia training. Steve enjoys all aspects of teaching, including studying and participating in the learning process.
