The Stroke and Disability Learning Center welcomes student interns and volunteers interested in learning about disability education, how to work with seniors and how to assist people living with functional loss and chronic health challenges.
If you are planning a career in nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, counseling, human services, dental hygiene, medical assisting or other health occupations, consider coming weekly at a regularly scheduled time to learn and contribute to the program.
You will need to be available to work during the time that classes are offered, currently Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
If you are enrolled in Cabrillo College, you may arrange to earn college credit through the Cooperative Work Experience Education program.
You may participate in the Stroke and Disability Learning Center as part of the Cabrillo College program in Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Human Services or other program.
