REAL: Reading and English Academic Learning
Improve your reading and writing skills while making friends and having fun! In REAL, your English and Reading instructors coordinate class themes, assignments, and activities to help you succeed in both courses. English 255 and Reading 255 must be taken together during the same semester.

THEME: Social Networking
How do we define ourselves and our communities in the realm of social networking? What rules of etiquette should apply to cell phones, texting, and twittering? How can we ensure a healthy environment in cyberspace? To participate in this Learning Community, students must enroll in the following two linked courses:
