Health Careers Partnership

About the Santa Cruz County Health Careers Partnership (HCP)
The Santa Cruz County Health Careers Partnership (HCP) is a collaborative effort between Santa Cruz County employers. educators, and workforce development agencies to strengthen our local health care workforce.

The Health Careers Partnership was formed in May of 2001 to take a proactive approach to solving health education and career issues facing our community. Since then, the partnership has remained very active and has had many successes.

Projects of the HCP focus on helping employer partners solve their workforce issues by providing educational solutions. This involves the identification of a collective need, the development of innovative solutions to meet that need, and delivery of viable solutions.

Health Employer Needs Assessment:
In order to strategically plan and implement partnership based projects, the employer partners in the HCP complete an on-line needs assessment. The assessment for 2008 has been completed, and the overview report is accessible *here*.
