Medical Assistant Continuing Education Program

Continuing education is a requirement for many healthcare professions, including medical assisting.

There are many benefits to receiving continuing education including keeping up-to-date with industry standards, refreshing professional skills, and providing an opportunity for healthcare professionals to continue to learn and grow both personally and professionally. As a general rule, 1-hour of instruction time is equal to one continuing education unit (CEU). For a medical assistant who received their certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the requirement for continued certification is to receive 60 CEU’s over a 5-year period.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to receive up to 12 CEU’s in just two days!

Ethics plays a very important role in every industry, especially in healthcare. The World Health Organization states, “Ethics is concerned with moral principles, values, and standards of conduct.” Healthcare professionals are faced with ethical dilemmas every day. To ensure proper decisions are made, it is important for all healthcare workers to be aware of their own ethical standards and the guiding principles of healthcare ethics.
