We are currently accepting proposals for our Summer & Fall 2016 programs.
Please submit your proposals by February 15, 2016 for the Summer program, and by May 15, 2016 for the Fall.
The Cabrillo Extension program is always looking for new ideas and classes. If you are interested in teaching a specific class for our program, and have professional and / or teaching experience in your field, we would be interested in reviewing your proposal for future consideration.
The broad areas that we look at are content, instructor qualifications and marketability. We currently publish three Extension class catalogs per year and begin our planning a number of months prior to each publication. Generally speaking, if you submit your proposal now your class may be included in the program approximately six months from now.
If you would like to simply submit information indicating your interest in teaching, but do not yet have a full class proposal, please complete our online Instructor Interest form to give us your contact information, the general area(s) you are interested in teaching, and the experience & credentials you have.
To begin the full review process of a class proposal please submit the Extension Class Proposal Form and Extension Instructor Application Form. Proposals and Instructor Application can be mailed to the address below, or emailed. You may enter your information online into the above form, then save and send to us via email (remember to add your name to the file name when you save).
