Mini Mermaids Running Club Camp (ages 7-12)

mermainds

The finish line is just the beginning! In small groups, girls learn about self-compassion and self-worth through the lens of two characters, Mini Mermaid and Siren. They each represent the two voices heard in the world and in our own hearts. Telling the difference between the two characters leads to clarity and mindfulness which leads to greater self-compassion and empathy. Girls are taught the value of exercise and moving their bodies regardless of size, shape, or ability.

Each day includes games, activities, and workouts aimed at preparing girls for a race at the end of the week. The workouts are not focused on being first or running fast, but rather on each girl finding HER OWN PACE so she can run her own race.

Runners will be divided into the following age groups: 7-9 year olds and 10-12 year olds.
