There are several ways to find available scholarships:
Scholarships are available each year for current students, enrolling high school graduates and transferring students. They are awarded annually on a competitive basis, with consideration given to academic promise, scholastic achievement, financial need and student potential.
Are subject specific awards (i.e. English, math, etc.). For more information, criteria, and applications, check with instructors and/or Division Offices in February or March.
Applications are usually available late September.
Once available, you can download an application through our online Scholarship Binder or pick one up at our office.
Applications are sent to the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office throughout the year. Criteria can range from college major to ethnic origin or financial need.

Are offered to encourage Santa Cruz County High School Seniors to begin their college education at Cabrillo College. Each scholarship fund is designed to assist students who meet specific eligibility requirements (see application for eligibility requirements). Recipients must enroll in full-time courses at Cabrillo College to receive their award.
Applications are usually available around mid December.

There are hundreds of scholarship opportunities that an ambitious student can discover. The best way to match your particular characteristics to scholarship opportunities is to search online. Students may use computers in the Learning Resource Center or the Library for this purpose. There are several FREE on-line scholarship searches available. Any search requesting money is most likely a scam.
