Applying to the Program as a Graduating High School Senior

The Honors Transfer Program application Priority Deadline has passed. IF you submitted your application before the deadline, please forward all necessary documentation as soon as possible.

DEADLINE to apply to the Honors Transfer Program as a graduating high school senior:

January 15th, 2020 - March 15th, 2020 at Midnight

Please Refer to "Minimum Qualifications" (to the right) for complete requirements

You may apply to Cabrillo College beginning in October, 2019 for the Fall, 2020 semester.

Required documents may be SCANNED and e-mailed (preferred) to honors@cabrillo.edu

  • Unofficial transcript that includes Fall, 2019 semester grades
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Copy of AP English Language or Literature, or IB Language A Literature HL or Language A Lang and Lit HL scores, if applicable

If you have applied to Cabrillo College AND completed the on-line Honors Transfer Program separate, required application by the March Deadline, any of the required documents may be submitted AFTER the deadline and your application will still be valid. However, we cannot fully evaluate your application without receipt of all required documents.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

New students must first also complete a separate, on-line application to Cabrillo College through CCC Apply - This is required even if you have previously taken Cabrillo courses as a concurrently-enrolled high school student. Click HERE TO APPLY to Cabrillo College for Fall Admission (beginning October, 2019 for Fall, 2020 enrollment)

NOTE: if you wish to take a course at Cabrillo in Spring 2020 or Summer, 2020, you may need to re-apply separately. Please contact Admissions and Records at Cabrillo.


If you are graduating from a Santa Cruz County high school, you should also participate in RUNNING START for early registration. See your high school counselor and refer to the Steps to Apply Fall, 2020 as a graduating high school senior to comply with those steps by the deadline.
