YES! Many students jumpstart their college education by concurrently enrolling at Cabrillo College while they are still in High School. High school students may attend classes at Cabrillo on a limited basis, with the permission of their high school.

Concurrent Enrollment

• You can take an appropriate class that has available space (see below for Suggested Courses).
• You can enroll in classes numbered 1-199. State law prohibits Cabrillo from offering 200 level courses to high school students.
• You need to submit the following forms to Cabrillo - Bldg. 100 EACH SEMESTER before you can register:
• Application for Admission*
• High School Release Form
• For some classes (like English or Math, or a Science class requiring Math) you have to take a placement test. Call the Assessment Office at 479-6267 a week after you have applied for admission. View the current Assessment Schedule.
