Transfer Admission Agreements / Guarantees (TAAs,TAGs) for Fall 2015 Admission

Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAGs) are agreements that are written in addition to the application to a University of California school. TAGs give you guaranteed admission and early notification.

Benefits of completing a TAG/TAA:

  • Guarantee of admission upon completion of all admissions and TAG/TAA requirements by the end of Spring 2014.
  • Universities will verify your coursework in advance and let you know if there are additional courses you should complete in your Spring semester at Cabrillo for Fall 2015 admission.
  • Some universities may waive application fees.
  • You can transfer from Cabrillo to any college or university in the country. However, if you’re planning to transfer to one of the below universities, writing a TAG/TAA makes the process easier.

If you will complete 30 transferable units through August 2014, you may be eligible to write a TAG/TAA for Fall 2015. All students who plan to transfer (whether you write a TAG/TAA or not) should meet with a Cabrillo counselor each semester to help with course selection for their specific campus and major.
