A Parking Permit allows you to park in student lots in Watsonville and Aptos during the term. You do not need one in Scotts Valley. Additionally, if you have a disabled parking placard, you do not need to purchase a parking permit.
To get your permit: Pick one up in person (bring a photo ID). If you didn't previously request and pay for it online, we'll charge your student account. The charge may take up to a week to show on your account, after which you can pay for it via any of the usual payment methods.
Parking is enforced Monday-Friday, 7am-10pm. Permits must be displayed in your vehicle in the lower left of the windshield. If lost or destroyed, you can purchase a replacement permit at full price.
Permits are valid in student parking spaces only. If you are parked in a staff or visitor space, you will be cited. Motorcyles do not need a permit as long as they park in designated motorcycle parking space. If you need a temporary disabled student permit, stop by the Sheriff's Office or Disabled Student Program and Services.
If you want to be able to move your permit from vehicle to vehicle, buy a special hang tag for $2 from the College Bank, Bookstore, or the Sheriff's Office at the Aptos campus.
Parking permits cannot be mailed. If you are picking one up for someone else, you will need a signed letter from that person giving you permission. Remember to bring a photo ID of yourself, as well.
