Resources in Technology & Reading

The Title V grant will fund nine upgraded classrooms with state-of-the-art technology for basic skills classes, and will allow a tenth classroom to be converted to a computer lab for teaching where students will be able to use computers, giving basic skills students access to the latest instructional technology.

A new reading collection will be established at the Aptos campus library and the Integrated Learning Center in Watsonville, with several titles of interest to encourage basic skills students to read more and become comfortable with using library resources.
