Student Equity Certificate Program

This 96-hour professional learning opportunity is designed to help administrators, faculty, staff, and recent graduates become scholar-practitioners in educational justice. Through seven (7) core courses, one (1) elective, one (1) symposium on Student Equity Day to present your project proposal, sixteen (16) bi-monthly professional learning community (PLC) sessions, and two (2) one-on-one meetings with the director of student equity and success, you will have an opportunity to use critical action research to address a particular educational barrier in your domain of influence that is hindering the academic, social, and/or psychological success of students from minoritized communities. The Fall 2020 cohort, which is limited to 34-35 participants, will meet one Friday per month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM beginning September 4, 2020. To register, click HERE.
