Beginning Fall 2024, new students who are interested in transferring to a university must meet with an Academic Counselor or attend a Transfer Education Plan workshop to create an Education Plan.
You must have an Education Plan on file by March 28, 2025, or a hold will be placed on your account, preventing resgitation for upcoming terms.

Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADTs) are a pathway to earning an Associate Degree while completing transfer requirements at the same time.
An Education Plan is one of the most valuable tools for your success at Cabrillo. An Education Plan is a personalized semester-by-semester outline of all the courses you need to take to reach your transfer goals.
Beginning Fall 2024, new students who are interested in transferring are required to have an Edcuation Plan onfile by the established deadline or an account HOLD will be placed , preventing regsitration. Students can fulfill this requirement by attending a Transfer Education Plan workshop or scheduling an Academic Counseling appointment.

Register for an Ed Plan Workshop
At the Transfer Education Plan Workshop, you will:
Explore ADTs offered at Cabrillo
Develop a 2-3 semester Education Plan with specific courses based on your academic or transfer goal
Learn about Major and General Education requirements
Place courses on your educational plan in Student Planning
Ask questions and receive personalized answers and recommendations from an expert!
Meet the Ed Plan equirement and avoid a hold on your record
Transferred to Cabrillo from another college/university?
If you have credit from AP/IB or transcripts from another institution please send them to Admissions and Records, once received please schedule a 60-minute appointment with an Academic Counselor. We must have your official transcripts on file to complete a transcript evaluation and create your education plan.
