About Me:

• When I was growing up, I wanted to be: a teacher, an interior designer or a florist!

• I am a first generation college graduate.

• I was a parent in college.

• I am a proud LGBTQ ally.

• I am an animal lover.

• My first three jobs after college were: Technical Writer for a disaster management company, an ESL instructor, Writing Tutor Coordinator

My Current Focus: As VP of Student Services, my focus is to make sure our student services team is working together to improve the student experience from enrollment to graduation, and everything in between. Together, we work to create a fun and welcoming environment with clear communication, policies, and procedures to set students up for success. I'm interested in creating more inclusive and equitable programs for students of color, student-parents and LGBTQ students.

Education: Bachelor's in English from Kent State University, Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language from University of Leeds
