Welcome to the Summer 2024 semester!

It's wonderful to have you here. I am looking forward to our time in our course together.

If you are enrolled in AH-10 or AH-20A this summer...

AH-10: Appreciation/Introduction to the Visual Arts and AH-20A: Survey of Art from Prehistoric through Medieval Periods are fully asynchronous courses, taught online via Canvas. These classes do not have set meeting times. Instead, you will log on to your course and work through class materials at your own pace this semester. Course content is organized in modules that may include readings, videos, quizzes, participation activities, and/or written assignments.

I hold a PhD in History from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom and a Master's degree in History in Art from the University of Victoria in Canada, where I also completed my undergraduate studies. I joined the Art History Department at Cabrillo College in Fall 2018 and the History Department in Fall 2019. In addition to my classes at Cabrillo College, I also teach Art History at California State University, East Bay and have previously taught at Diablo Valley College.
