College and Career Family Night

College and Career Family Night is a chance to meet university representatives from numerous public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities. It is also an opportunity to learn about Cabrillo College’s degrees and programs, attend workshops*, and explore various resources. This event is free and open to the public.

*Workshops will be offered in English & Spanish
Two locations on the Cabrillo College Aptos campus with workshops at each to help you plan, launch, and navigate your college experience.

Learn about Cabrillo Colleges educational opportunities, attend workshops, take a quick career assessment, explore learning communities, support programs, resources and clubs.

WORKSHOPS

  • Financial Aid Workshop: How do I pay for college?
    Financial Aid staff will walk you and your family through the financial aid process.
    Start times: 6:15pm, 6:45pm, & 7:15pm
    Location: Library, Bldg. 1000 (2nd floor)

  • Empowering Futures: Dual Enrollment Workshop: How do I take classes as a high school student?
    Dual Enrollment offers students a head start on their college journey by enabling them to take college-level courses while still in high school. During our workshop, we'll delve into what Dual Enrollment is, its benefits, and how to get your student started!

Cabrillo College Learning Communities are cohort-based programs offering exciting experiences and vital holistic support to help you achieve your academic goals. While each program is unique, standard features include instructional and student support services, critical courses that meet program requirements, and referrals to campus resources to help you be successful—no need to go it alone. Find a community that works for you!
