- Reviewing and analyzing goals to identify institutional themes to aid the integration of planning and resource allocation efforts
- Recommending improvements to processes to ensure efficacy in fulfilling the college mission and that the campus meets accreditation standards
- Communicating trends and findings with the campus community and visiting accreditation teams
Goals
2025-26 Goals:
Goal One: Implement plans to document and assess institutional effectiveness within a framework that centers equity and our HSI designation, with a focus on communication strategies and servingness, by:
- Developing and disseminating communication strategies around governance and decision-making that are culturally responsive and amplify the voices of Latinx and other historically marginalized communities;
- Systematically using relevant data and disaggregated metrics to inform decision-making, identify equity gaps, and demonstrate the college’s ongoing commitment to servingness;
- Evaluating planning and decision-making processes - including regular updates to the governance handbook - to ensure they reflect equity-minded practices and support the college’s evolution as a truly serving institution.
Goal Two: Evaluate action items from KPI review to support institutional goals in the context of our commitment to servingness by:
- Disaggregating data to examine how effectively college efforts are meeting the needs of Latinx and other historically underserved student groups;
- Using findings to inform continuous improvement, ensuring that action steps actively close equity gaps and reflect the college’s identity as a serving institution.
Goal Three: Evolve and align program and institutional planning processes to reflect our HSI designation and commitment to servingness by:
- Leveraging technology and existing systems to improve coordination, transparency, and communication across initiatives;
- Embedding practices that ensure planning efforts are inclusive, student-centered, and aligned with the needs of Latinx and other historically underserved communities.
Goal Four: Finalize and approve Accreditation ISER
