A minimum of 9 units from LIST A is required for Honors Scholar. LIST A courses are offered on a rotating bases as unique Honors versions. If the course isn't being offered in an "Honors" format, you may be able to take it through a written contract with an instructor teaching the traditional format of the course. 

It is ALWAYS the decision of the instructor to write an Honors Agreement for their course. They are not obligated to do so.

**LIBR 10H, HONRS 1H, and HONRS 2H are NOT counted toward the 15 units required for Honors Scholar, UCLA TAP, or Completion of the Honors Program. CG 51 ‐ HONRS and STEM sections, if taken beginning Fall 2019 with an Honors Contract, may be counted toward Honors credit for LIST B – below.

A maximum of six (6) units from these courses may be applied to Honors Scholar, "Completion of the Program," or UCLA TAP Certification. With successful completion of the contract, student transcript will be notated with the code of "15" - which means "Honors credit received."
