Radiologic Technology Students working with the X Ray Machine
Radiologic Technology

Application

Before you may apply to the Radiologic Technology program, you must complete the required prerequisites with a C or better. Please review this list of our program's prerequisites.

Our application period will be open from September 1st through October 1st every year. The application link will be active on this page starting September 1st. Students may apply only during the application window. Applications submitted before or after the window will not be included in the selection process. Incomplete applications, or applications with prerequisite courses still in progress, will also not be included in the selection process.

As of 2017, we no longer add applicants to a waitlist. Interested students must reapply if they were not accepted during their first application cycle. Due to the random nature of our selection process, we cannot predict or provide guarantees for our applicants.

The Application and Selection Process:

  1. Students must complete and submit their application between September 1st and October 1st.

  2. Applications are reviewed for completeness and eligibility by a specialized evaluation team as they are received.

  3. Approved applicants are put on a spreadsheet and assigned a number.

  4. A week after the application period closes, a random number generator is used to select the applicants that will be offered entrance to our program.

  5. The random number generator is used again to determine a number of alternates should any of the placed applicants have to drop out or defer their placement.

  6. Notifications will be sent to the accepted students by the end of October. Students must respond to confirm their acceptance.

  7. Accepted and assigned alternate students are expected to attend a couple of events prior to the start of the program. Dates of these events will be communicated via email from our program coordinator.
