Mind+Body in Sports
Your mental health is equally important as your physical health. As a student-athlete, you face all the opportunities and challenges of being a college student while balancing the additional role of being a college athlete. Wellbeing is integral for effectively managing the many roles you are facing at this time of your life. Fit Minds, a collaboration between Cabrillo College’s Athletics and Student Health Services is dedicated to supporting you through the 8 Dimensions of Wellness.
Student Health Services(SHS) includes Physical and Mental Health Appointments. The student health fee you've paid as an enrolled student covers private and confidential in-person or teletherapy sessions at SHS.
Schedule an appointment with our Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counselors, Wellness Educator and/or Student Wellness Ambassadors by contacting us by phone, email or dropping into room 912 at the Aptos Campus and A126 at the Watsonville Campus.
Please note SHS is not available to respond on nights, weekends, or during school closures. Scroll down for year round support hotline, warmlines and other resoucres.
