The Kinesiology Department offers a comprehensive program that focuses on the health, well-being, and success of our students through a development of lifetime relationships with physical activity and movement.
Students range from high school students to senior adults who engage in a variety of classes from Personal Training and CPR to sports skills and fitness. A sampling of our fitness class includes yoga, total fitness, weight training, water aerobics, weight management, core fitness, and functional fitness. Some of our sport specific classes include golf, tennis, swimming, soccer, basketball, water polo and volleyball. Currently we offer 11 lecture classes and 24 activity classes. All Cabrillo students, faculty & staff have access to the pool for open swim during fall and spring semesters Friday from 11:00 am-12:30 p.m. Open swim is subject to change based on lifeguard availability or cancellations due to Water Polo or Swimming events.
