The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program at Cabrillo College is a four-semester program and accepts students each Fall and Spring semester. We offer an Associate in Science in Nursing degree to prepare you to become a Registered Nurse. The degree prepares you for successful entry into the dynamic profession of nursing and requires 70-75 units. A recent program review revealed graduates’ median salary of $95,084.

The Cabrillo nursing program uses a multi-criteria selection process. In addition to meeting the prerequisite criteria, points are awarded according to various components of education, experience, and background. The next application cycle will be in February 2025 for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
The Cabrillo College Nursing Program also offers limited opportunities for advanced placement admission for LVNs, military personnel, and students transferring from other nursing programs.
Accreditation
The Cabrillo College Associate Degree Program in Nursing, possessing the qualifications established by law and having satisfactorily complied with the rules and regulation of the California Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration, has been granted Accreditation to conduct a school of nursing in the State of California.
