Search the Cabrillo site
To get the best possible search
results:
Check spelling - Make sure
your search terms are spelled correctly. The search engine will attempt
to find words with different possible endings than your search terms,
but may not be able to recognize misspelled word roots.
Use multiple words - Use multiple words and
the "All" Match option when performing your search.
More words for a search will return more refined results than
a search from a single word.
Use similar words - The more similar words you
use in a search, the more relevant results will be to the words
that you are searching for.
Use the boolean search method - and the words "and", "or",
and "not" to obtain more refined result sets. For example,
searching for dogs not collie will return results that are about
dogs, but not about collies. - Note that you can also use parenthesis.
For example, tea and (milk or cream) not sugar will find the
pages containing the word "tea", and either or both
the words "milk" and "cream", but exclude
those pages which also contain the word "sugar".
