Math Courses

All Noncredit Math Courses Now Offered Completely Online!  If you want to get a head start on math for next semester, you can enroll any time.  Friendly Math Instructors are available to help you M-F via video chat.  To get started, join the Zoom session at this link: anytime on Fridays from 1 pm to 8:30 pm.

Do you need to improve math for your job or everyday life?

Cabrillo offers tuition-free classes in foundational mathematics and algebra. They are held in  two different formats to meet your needs:

  • Math Drop-In Lab: self-paced in a supportive lab environment
  • Math PLUS: Free and fun class-based one week math review before the semster

Math Drop-In Lab 

A self-paced environment with support from an instructor for beginning foundational mathematics and algebra. Noncredit Math Lab allows you to drop-in when you can with flexible attendance. Come to class at any times/days that work for you within the posted hours. You do NOT have to come the whole time in order to participate.

Getting Started

Simply attend any class. Our staff will guide you!

Drop-In Classes

  • MATH 350A: Whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percent
  • MATH 350B: Geometry, graphs, measurements, statistics, signed numbers
  • MATH-360A: Algebraic expressions, linear equations and linear inequalities
  • MATH-360B: Graphing linear equations and inequalities, writing linear equations given certain properties
  • MATH-360C: Systems of equations: Teaches solving systems of linear equations in two variables
  • MATH-360D: Polynomials: operations with polynomials, factoring polynomials, solving polynomial equations
  • MATH-360E: Rational expressions & equations: rational expressions, rational equations
  • MATH-360F: Square roots & quad equations: operations with square roots and solving quadratic equations
