The Computer Technology Center (CTC) is a computer lab offering computers, color printers, scanners & copiers for any currently-enrolled Cabrillo student.
The Computer Technology Center (CTC) is a large computer lab/study spot for registered Cabrillo students who are trying achieve their student goals. The CTC is open six days a week (including evening hours!) during the fall/spring semesters, and is open six weeks in summer. We have Peer Tech Coaches (Teaching Assistants) at all times to help with labs/homework.
See the calendar below for a detailed schedule of when we are in-person and online.
The CTC is located in the 1400 building on lower campus (by Parking Lot M) just beyond the Cabrillo Theater. The lab consists of approximately 100 computers, Macs as well as PCs, color printers, scanners, copiers, staplers, a paper cutter and a Computer History Museum. You can check out library items at our Front Desk: books, USB drives, phone/iPad chargers, Wacom Tablets, wrist pads, book stands, headphones, and more! Secure Wi-Fi and study areas are available too. The layout of the CTC includes configurations for different student needs: Macs specifically loaded with software for Digital Media, areas for laptop use, quiet study cubes, a collaborative study area in room 1402, and the EB CAP Lounge for club meetings, student gatherings, instructor office hours, or tutoring. We also have a bank of computers that are configured specifically for STEM applications. If you haven't had a chance to check us out, come down to lower campus to see what the CTC has to offer! We are a clean, safe place to study!
