What is EOPS?
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded effort designed to provide financial, counseling and academic support services for full-time Cabrillo students identified as educationally and economically disadvantaged.
How can I qualify?
- be a California resident/AB540 eligible
- qualify for the California College Promise Grant (formerly BOG)
- be enrolled full-time (12 or as determined by ASC)
- have less than 70 degree applicable units in any combination of post secondary higher education institutions
- be identified as having an economic and educational disadvantage
Services:
- academic counseling
- meal and gas cards
- school supplies
- orientation/workshops
- priority registration
- text book purchase/loan assistance
- monetary grant to qualified students
