We will be scheduling clinics when more vaccine is received.
H1N1 vaccine supply is limited to the following groups of students and employees:
- Health care workers and first responders with direct patient contact
- Pregnant women (no preservative free vaccine yet - coming soon)
- Anyone who lives with, or cares for an infant under 6 months of age.
- Anyone age 24 and younger (minors need parental consent)
- Adults Age 25-64 with a chronic medical condition such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease.
- $5 administrative fee, can be waived for economic hardship, ALH students
Seasonal flu vaccine is in stock and available to all students and staff.
$10 fee, waived for Allied Health Students
We expect to receive a continued supply of H1N1 and seasonal vaccine. Flu shot priority groups will expand as vaccine supply increases.
Santa Cruz County Public Health is offering free H1N1 vaccine to priority groups, and $25 seasonal shots. They ask that you seek vaccine from your usual provider first. Check their website for current availiblity: http://www.santacruzhealth.org/alerts/index.htm#flu
