The Math Learning Center (MLC) was created to help Cabrillo College math students develop the problem-solving skills so they have the confidence and ability to solve math problems on their own.

What are the MLC services?

Our center provides peer tutors to help you whenever you are struggling or wanting to get deeper insight into your math course.

Specifically, you can come to us for the following services:

• Homework support

• Finding errors in specific problems (check for sign errors, help with trig identities, explain math concept required in the problem, etc)

• Conversation about current content in your course.

• Exam review.

What classes can you get support with at the MLC?

The MLC offers tutoring support in all Math classes offered at Cabrillo College. This includes support for: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, the Calculus series, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Statistics.
