Age is not a discriminating factor in completing an educational goal at Cabrillo College. I completed my AS Degree with Honors in Computer Application and Business Technology at 70 years old!"I earned three certificates in four semesters, while participating in the Federal Work Study program. The professors and Computer Technology Center, tutoring, Student Resource Center, and Library staffs were supportive, challenging, and provided guidance throughout my experience.

When I was in high school, I never saw myself going to college. I thought it was going to be too expensive and too challenging. I decided to join the U.S. Army. After I finished my time in service, I enrolled at Cabrillo College and made a plan with a academic counselor. I felt confident that I was heading in the right direction with what my major of biology required. Cabrillo has really helped me to achieve a lot the entire time of being here. I'm glad I took the steps to enroll at Cabrillo to achieve my goals.
