• You can take high school classes for college credit. We have agreements with many high schools that link some of their courses with Cabrillo. You can attend those classes and, if eligible, you can petition Cabrillo for college credit.
• You can take college classes while still in high school and get credit in both college and high school if your high school allows it. This allows you to get a head start on your college education by taking math, science or other courses. Some may even fulfill your requirements for placement tests. • Another way for you to get a Running Start on your college education is to apply for priority registration to Cabrillo as a graduating Santa Cruz County high school senior. By indicating your interest in Cabrillo early, you can gain priority status for registration. Apply Now.
• The Cabrillo Honors Transfer Program can enrich your educational experience and allow you to participate in outside research, attend thought-provoking seminars or delve deeply into literature.
